THREE BLUE DUCKS, BYRON BAY

We ate in some fabulous restaurants and cafés during our long weekend in Bryon Bay, however one of my absolute favourites was the breakfast we had at ‘Three Blue Ducks’.

A short (five minute) drive away from the centre of Byron Bay, this wonderful restaurant is part of ‘The Farm’, an 80 acre working farm and macadamia orchard. I love their motto here of ‘Grow, Feed, Educate’ as well as their focus on environmental sustainability and nurturing the land.

There are four separate areas to explore on the The Farm - ‘Three Blue Ducks’ restaurant, ‘The Bread Social’ bakery, ‘The Produce Store’ selling local produce and ‘The Garden Shed’ nursery.

The produce they use at ‘Three Blue Ducks’ includes fresh produce from the farm and the remainder is locally sourced. I love their focus on ‘real food’ - ours was delicious and the coffee was also excellent!

There are outdoor patios with tables to enjoy your food with a gorgeous view of the garden, an old barn for relaxing with a coffee and croissant, and if you book in advance you can order a hamper of food and picnic in the gardens. They’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
