This gorgeous boutique hotel is set amongst stunning tropical gardens in the perfect location in Byron Bay - close to excellent cafés, restaurants and shops. The beautiful beaches are only 700 metres away - a leisurely stroll or easy bike-ride.
The hotel is made up of 4 separate beach-houses, each with ensuite bedrooms, shared kitchens and living areas. You are able to use the kitchens to prepare and cook your own food, and there are plenty of day-beds and hanging chairs - perfect for reading a book or taking an afternoon nap.
I loved the décor - plenty of fresh white, accents of blue, blonde wood, natural materials, fresh, crisp linen on the beds and careful attention to detail. Some of the rooms are on the smaller side, so my tip would be to choose a larger room if you can.
The staff were excellent (especially Heidi!) and so friendly and helpful.
The hotel offers bikes, yoga mats, beach towels and surfboards for guests to use, and we enjoyed swims in the lap pool and drinks around the fire pit in the evenings.
Bryon Bay has a wonderful, easy-going, relaxed vibe, and The Atlantic is the perfect place to stay to make the most of this special part of the world. I can’t wait to return!
