BANGALOW, NSW

This charming, small, historical town is a 20 minute drive inland from Byron Bay.

The Banjalong Aboriginal people originally lived in this area and then it was subsequently founded in the 1880’s by the European settlers.

Take a pleasant stroll along the main street and enjoy shopping in the independent boutiques or stop for coffee and lunch at one of the many cafés and restaurants here. My tip would be to eat at ‘Woods’ located on nearby Station Street for breakfast or lunch and then shop in some of the pretty stores here such as ‘Hendrix and Harlow’ (pictured below) for gorgeous homewares.

There is also a wonderful Farmers Market here every Saturday morning from 8am-11am.
