RENT A BOAT, SAIL AROUND THE ISLAND AND ENJOY A LONG LUNCH

Book a boat to take you for a 2-3 hour tour around the island stopping off at all of the grotto’s.

We decided NOT to wait in the very long line for an hour or more to see the blue grotto and spent our time instead exploring the amazing green and white grotto’s further around the island.

The view from the water of Capri is spectacular, and the water is the most incredible shade of blue ranging from deep navy to lighter blue.  If you DO want to see the blue grotto during the summer months you MUST arrive very early in the morning!

After our tour around the island we were dropped off at Da Luigi beach club for a delicious, long lunch and lazy afternoon spent swimming and enjoying the warm sunshine.

From Da Luigi we took a water taxi in the late afternoon to Marina Piccola for 5 euros per person and then caught a taxi back to our hotel.
