Principe di Salina

I fell in love with this gorgeous, small, boutique hotel as soon as I saw it! This was reinforced further when I read that it’s family owned and run and they provide warm, excellent service to all of their guests.

Located on the small Aeolian Island of Salina, this island is reachable by ferry from either Palermo or Milazzo both in northern Sicily.

The hotel is surrounded by vineyards and has stunning views across the beautiful, blue sea.

I adore the simple whitewashed walls, blue and white accessories and rustic, natural pieces of furniture.

The in-house restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as smoothies and snacks poolside. Their menu changes daily and the cuisine is fresh Italian seafood, vegetables and fruit. I love the idea of having a large, communal table as this is a relaxing and lovely way to interact with other guests.

It’s only a 5-minute walk into the centre of Malfa (town) and the hotel is happy to organise any excursions and tours that you would like to do.

Friends of mine have also been lucky enough to visit Principe di Salina, and they confirmed that this is the perfect place to relax and recharge! I can’t wait to go!
